Academic trip to Jakarta ( Discovering the Java Island) by Reziella, 2012226072,Hm1115A2

For the first time, I travel and visit the java island which is Jakarta-Bandung-Jogjakarta. I never imagine that i will have this kind of opportunity  to travel and visit  the Java Island. I was so excited and enjoy every moment that we spend at every place that we visit. Actually, we has visited several attraction but I only want to highlight two place which is Tangkuban Parahu in Bandung and Borobudur Temple in Jogjakarta.

Tangkuban Parahu is an active volcano that situated in the north of the Bandung city. Actually,  The Tangkuban Perahu get the name because it's has distinctive shape and looks like an overturned boat. Futhermore, this place have unpleasant smell, so that not everyone can stand the smell of the sulfur fumes. The visitor are advise to use handkerchief to cover the visitor nose and mouth. But the most important is the view are very beautiful.

Borobudur Temple is one of the attraction that available in Jogjakarta. Borobudur Temple is very well know not only among people in Jogjakarta but around the world. This is because few years ago, this place also listed as one of the seven  wonders in the world. In addition, the visitor also can see the sunrise and sunset from this Borobudur temple. But, unfortunately, due to the delay we didn't manage to see the sunrise but we manage to see the sunset. 

 Jakarta also well known with their variety type of food. During our academic trip, we manage to test the sunda food and also the nasi padang food. Base on my observation, most of the food taste are spicy. In addition, they also like to drink tea and  most of the restaurant that we go, they served tea.

In Bandung, the most popular place to shopping is in Pasar baru trade center. This is because the price of the thing such as t-shirt,handbag and so on are very cheaper. The customer also can ask for discount up to 60% from the real price. This place was very crowded. In addition, this place will open from 9 am until 5 pm everyday.  

In Jogjakarta, I was attract with the horses couches. The fee that we need to pay is we use this kind of transportation are from 50 until 100 IDR. It depends to the horses  couches owner. The best thing is, you can request to the owner to bring you to any place that you want.
